Is this beef grain fed or grass fed?
Both. All cattle are raised on grass then many of them are finished with grain at the feedlot for about 3 months.

Are the beef cattle (used to create this product) raised in a CAFO (concentrated animal feed operation)? If so, do you have a main feedlot that your source your beef? Where is it located?
Some are and we have no main feedlot. Most feedlots are in Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa.

Do the cows receive antibiotics?
Only if they are sick. Healthy cows (as most are) do not receive antibiotics. There is a 60 day withdrawal period in case one is given antibiotic to rid their system.

Why is textured vegetable protein product added to the meat?
That is to normally increase the protein content. Will be found in mostly meat loaf, Salisbury steak and very few hamburgers.
